At the end of 2008, he travelled to Bamako (Mali) to study the contemporary kora with the maestro Toumani Diabaté and the traditional kora with Mamadou Kouyaté, kora player for the Ensemble Instrumental du Mali.
In 2009, he went to Los Angeles to start out in the trade of Jaliyaa, storytelling accompanied by the kora, under the guidance of Jeliba Baba.
In 2012, he travelled to Greece to begin his self-taught training of the ancient Mediterranean lyre, purchasing a tortoiseshell-type lyre from ancient Greek times and compiling the most ancient melodies known to date, found at archaeological sites.
In 2014, he began the project to recreate the first lyre of the Iberian Peninsula along with Grupo de Recreación de la Música en la Iberia Antigua (GReMIA), becoming the first and only musician to use this instrument professionally and in chamber auditoriums with large orchestras.
To date, he has published three independently produced albums as a soloist and in collaboration with other artists. His albums include his own compositions and traditional songs from West Africa.
